Readings and Workshops

I have been a juried poet and featured poet in the Houston Poetry Fest, and was selected as a featured reader for Houston’s Public Poetry series in 2013,  In 2014, I was a Special Guest Poet for the Austin International Poetry Festival. I’ve also been a guest poet for the Austin Independent School District. Since 2011, I have hosted BookWoman‘s monthly 2nd Thursday Poetry Reading and Open Mic.

I’ve given poetry workshops on topics ranging from ekphrastic poetry to the art of revision.
